Terms and Conditions |
Prices:
All prices in this web site are current as of January 2009, but are subject to
revision without notice unless quoted. A written quote will be effective
for 30 days from date of quotation. Unless otherwise indicated, quantity
discounts are offered only for like units ordered at the same time, on a
single purchase order, for shipment per our standard delivery schedule. |
Terms:
Subject to credit approval – NET 30 days for orders under
$20,000.
Orders over $20,000:
25% down with order
50% prior to shipment
25% Net 30 days
Note: EMI Corp. may ship products C.O.D., depending on your company’s
credit rating, references, and history. Mastercard, Visa, American Express
and Discover are welcomed. For new customers, please call for credit application. |
Delivery
Schedule:
Delivery shown is based on available inventory, and engineering and production
schedules at time of quotation. Actual delivery time will be confirmed at time
of order placement. |
Shipment:
F.O.B.: EMI Corp., Jackson Center, OH. The buyer must make all claims of shortage
or rejections within 30 days after receipt of the shipment. |
Installation:
Unless otherwise indicated, customer is responsible for product/equipment installation.
In all cases, customer remains responsible for proper installation and
guarding in accordance with applicable OSHA, federal, state, local, and
other applicable regulations. |
Warranty:
Warranty varies by product. Contact us for specific warranty specifications.
Damage, due to improper electrical or mechanical applications, voids any
warranty. Upon written notification of defect, within the warranted period,
EMI will approve pre-paid shipping of the product to our factory for inspection,
repair, or replacement. Repair or replaced items are returned to the customer
at no charge. Returned product must be properly packaged by the customer
to prevent damage. |
Limitation
of Liability:
EMI Plastics Equipment’s liability is limited to repair or replacement
of the product, or refund of the purchase price. EMI shall in no event be liable
for loss of business or profits, or any consequential downtime or damage arising
from the use of EMI products. EMI shall in no event be liable for loss of business
or profits, or any consequential downtime for shipments with products requiring
engineering. (Shipping dates are subject to change based on engineering or manufacturing
requirements, or other circumstances beyond our control). |
Returns:
There are no restocking charges if the product is a normally stocked item returned
in the same condition as it was shipped from EMI. Built to order, customized,
and non-standard EMI products may be returned, and may be subject to a
re-stocking charge which will be negotiated prior to return. Altered EMI
products changed by the customer may or may not qualify for return. If
return is approved, there may be a negotiated re-working charge. A material
return number must be obtained before any returned items will be accepted
by EMI. All returns must be freight pre-paid, and suitably crated by the
