Gimatic
- High Power Sprue Gripper
#
1904, # 6458
At 650
pounds of gripping force, these jaws, combined with
size 20 nipper bodies, are ideal for tough gripping,
ripping, and stripping applications. They are also perfect
for large sprues that stick in
the mold and need strong pulling force to remove them, or
for large runners that have too much rotational torque for
standard
grippers
to handle. They are also ideal for gripping
and stripping wide fan-gates (typically used with auto bumper
type
parts). We normally
pair High Power jaws with Gimatic nipper bodies (which offer
both sensor equipped bodies and standard
non-sensor body
styles), although they can
be used with almost any size 20 nipper body. Note:
Compared to general purpose sprue grippers, these jaw have narrower
opening and closing angles, so pay careful attention to
the
open/close dimensions when sizing. Our EOAT Engineering department
can asist in sizing. |

Gimatic - Die Case Mini Grippers
# 6553
These die
cast Mini Grippers may look 'Plain Jane', but they're about
as sturdy and long lived as you can get. Their rugged construction
offers a higher grip force than other similarly sized sprue
grippers and the teeth design of the fingers holds sprues
better than other grippers of their size. Sensor
models come with the sensor already installed and configured,
eliminating the typical ‘hide and seek’ process
of sensor set-up. The single, finger mounted sensor confirms
that the sprue
has been gripped.
