FREE Engineering Design Assistance

To make it easy for our customers to save money by building their own robot EOAT or End Effector, EMI-EOAT provides free engineering Design Assistance. For customers
who purchase the components from us, there is no charge for this service. Our 3-D drawings and detailed parts lists make assembling the EOAT simple, and because you
do it yourself, you can get it done when you need it. |
Design Assistance Saves Customers Money
A customer called for information about our do-it-yourself, end-of-arm-tooling. They had previously contacted several different EOAT specialty companies with specifics of
what they were hoping to have built for them. The best price they were quoted was more than $9,000... well over their budget. They were planning to scrap the project, but
first wanted to know if there was anything we could do for them.
The call was referred to an EOAT product engineer, who told them about our new 3-D Design Assistance. The customer sent sample parts and runners, as well as more specifics
about the project. After a few more phone calls, our EOAT product engineer designed and sent the customer this 3-D design assembly for their EOAT project. They were also
sent a price list with everything needed to complete the project. Total price was $4,044.
A couple of weeks later, the customer called. They had built the EOAT using the design suggested. After a little fine tuning it was working great, and they were elated that
they had saved more than $5,000! |
