EMI's
pre-engineered automation concepts make specifying a conveyor
for use with your robot or picker a snap. Indexing
control can be supplied by either by your robot or by an EMI
S-44 robotic indexing option. Most
applications will require a single or double plane, flat or
cleated belt
conveyor equipped with the correct options and control system.
All of our robotic
conveyors are specifically designed to maximize robot
efficiency.
- Elevated
release areas save wear and tear on the robot arm by minimizing
the length of the down stroke needed for parts removal.
- Elevated
release areas allow the robot to get in and out of the
mold as quickly as possible, allowing the molding machine
to run
at peak efficiency.
- Declining
sections lower parts to a comfortable level for operator
removal.
- Indexing
control can be used to fill parts into boxes or to allow
a longer time on the conveyor for cooling.

This
simple, single plane, flat belt robotic conveyor features
an S-44 Robotic Indexing option and a variable speed belt
drive.

This two-plane, robotic conveyor features a 15° declining noseover, a Variable speed belt drive and EMI's S-44 Indexing Control option.

Safety enclosures are a popular option for robotic conveyors. Enclosures can be designed to fit on the conveyor or they can be free
standing units such as EMI's popular, pre-fabricated, modular, caging systems. |
