Bag or Box Holders

To fill bags, an optional bag holder must be ordered.

To position boxes on the turntable, optional box holders must be ordered.

When ordering box or bag holders, please supply the following information:

Box - height, width, length, orientation
Bag - height, width, diameter

Double the Capacity!

A second level platform can double the capacity of a Turntable style box or bag filling system - without using any more floor space than a single level system.

Box Filling Turntables

An Automatic Turntable is a versatile, cost effective way to automatically fill parts into boxes or bags. Compact round shape is great for areas that are often too small for a traditional Inline system, such as the space at the end of the molding machine.

Available in 3 diameters: 3’, 4’ or 5’.

Standard features include:
  • Steel construction.
  • 1/3 hp, 110/60/1 DC variable speed drive.
  • Synchronous belt drive.
  • Shipped with electrical components completely installed and wired.
  • Control wiring is contained in liquid tight conduit and connectors.
  • Swivel Castors.
Standard Operation

The Automatic Turntable can operate on a count signal from the molding machine, a robot or a Weigh-hopper, and can be programmed to fill many different sizes and shapes of boxes.
Note: We can provide an optional counter, which will count machine shots and send an indexing sign

Custom Box Filling System features:

  • A covered cooling chamber on the feeding conveyor.
  • 2 chilled air cooling units.
  • Box holders on the turntable platform assure that boxes are placed in the correct position.
  • An easy to program control system.

How does it work?

This system was designed to fit at the end of the molding machine. Box holders assure that the boxes are placed in the correct position. Parts are brought by an under press conveyor to a covered, feeding conveyor, which runs alongside the press. The feeding conveyor is cooled using 2 chilled air cooling units. By the time the parts reach the end of the conveyor, they are cool enough to be packed without being damaged.
