| Ball Transfer
Plate - Right Angle Transfer station |
How
does it work?
Containers
move down a powered belt conveyor onto a ball transfer plate.
A photo eye senses the container and signals a sweep arm
to move it on to the adjoining gravity, roller conveyor. The
arm then retracts to await the next container. |
| Carousel
Style, 180 Degree Turn, Transfer Station |

way to change
the direction of large parts or boxes. This system smoothly
transfers boxes or parts between 2 conveyors going in opposite
directions. Gravity
rollers and adjustable side rails are used to direct parts
or boxes onto and off of the carousel platform.
Advantages
of a Carousel style transfer system.
- Less
expensive than power turns.
- Adjustable
side rails and easy to adjust leg height, provide plenty
of versatility.
- Smooth,
no-drop turns prevent damage to delicate parts and prevent
tipping.
- Maintains
part or box orientation.
