Automatically
lowering parts to a second conveyor at packer height saved
this molder time and labor costs.
How
does it work?
Parts
come off the blow molder at a height too high for easy packing
- in addition, the conveyor height must be changed from mold
to mold. In order to move the parts to a better level for packing,
parts
are moved
on the upper conveyor to a Vertical Transfer platform which
lowers each part and slides it onto the lower conveyor,
which
carries it to the packer. The upper level
conveyor has an adjustable height feature to accomodate changing
mold requirements.
