EMI automatic Gaylord filling systems are an excellent way to reduce labor costs and improve plant efficiency. Systems can be custom designed to meet a wide range of application needs.

Two lane, part diverter services 2 molding machines.

How does it work?

  • Parts from the first machine are fed onto one side of the belt. Parts from the 2nd machine are fed onto the other side.
  • The 1st diverter opens to allow parts from the 1st machine to be filled into container #1. When the container is full, the diverter closes and the second opens.
  • The process continues until the 1st 4 containers are full. The controller signals an operator to refill the system.
  • Meanwhile, parts from the 2nd machine pass by the first 4 diverters to the 5th diverter, which opens to allow them to be fed into container #5.
  • The process continues until containers 5-8 are full. The controller signals an operator to refill the system.
