EMI's all new Mold Shields are strong, durable and exceptionally high quality. Plenty of new features make these side shields the easiest ever to install or remove.
Uses and Benefits	Mold Side Shield opened
Mold Side Shields open and close along with the mold. Parts are directed downward onto a conveyor or into boxes, rather than scattering around the mold. Side Shields are an excellent way to prevent small parts from sticking to oily machinery, reduce part contamination, improve part quality and reduce scrap loss.

Features:

Spring loaded rollers allow the screen to roll open and close smoothly along with the mold - no creases or folds to trap parts
Velcro roller strips - allow screens to be easily changed.
Three different screen material choices, allow you to choose the perfect material to suit your specific application needs
Available in 12 sizes - custom sizes available on request
Snap-in clips allow the screen to be easily removed for quick access to the mold
Mold Side Shields can be either mounted permanently to the molding machine, or they can be easily mounted or removed using our Magnet mounting system

Side Shield Materials Call for optional side shield material pricing: 216-535-4848.
Standard: PA -nylon (Polyamid) fabric. Good for mold temperatures to 239°F (115°C).	Optional: PVC-GF glass filled fiber, non flammable - good for mold temps to 302°.	Optional: Fire repellant. Good for mold temperatures to 572°F (300°C). Especially good for duroplastic, rubber or silicon processing.

Magnets allow Mold Side Shields to be mounted to the mold or platen in seconds - without drilling or tapping the mold frame
Magnets allow Mold Side Shields to be moved easily from mold to mold
Magnets are available in two styles, standard or (exceptionally strong) Rare Earth Neodymium
