Mold Side Shields open and close along with the mold. Parts are directed downward onto a conveyor or into boxes, rather than skattering around the mold.

Side Shields are an excellent way to prevent small parts from sticking to oily machinery, reduce part contamination, improve part quality and reduce scrap loss.

• Snap-in clips allow the screen to be easily removed for quick access to the mold.
• Mold Side Shields can be either mounted permanently to the molding machine, or they can be easily mounted or removed using our Magnet mounting system.

• Magnets allow Mold Side Shields to be mounted to the mold or platen in seconds - without drilling or tapping the mold frame.
• Magnets allow Mold Side Shields to be moved easily from mold to mold.
• Magnets are available in 2 styles, standard or (exceptionally strong) Rare Earth Neodymium.
